Belmore Estate Residence
The client set out with the intention of creating a series of glamorous spaces, with dramatic finishes, stating that this residence would be their ‘forever home’. The project design was heavily influenced by Manhattan Art Deco style and involved the organisation of a number of specialist trades and suppliers.
The stylish interiors of this luxe home included designer lighting, C Bus smart wiring for enhanced lighting control, indoor water features as well as English oak parquetry floor laid in a diagonal Marie Antoinette pattern to the games room and custom acid etched and 3D carved internal art glass doors imported from the USA. High end Black Chrome door furniture was also imported from Italy.
The residence has over forty-four tonne of imported marble and granite finishes, with Crema Marfil marble floors throughout, Limestone and Himalayan sandstone in alfresco and pool areas and a flamed bluestone driveway. There was a total of nine-hundred square metres of natural stone laid throughout the course of the project. 50t of Spanish Terracotta Planum slate tiles were also imported for the roof covering.
The floors throughout are heated with a hydronic system, the garage has a polished concrete finish and the media room is tiered. The home has eleven foot ceilings with domed and decorative coffered ceilings and trims.
This home has been nominated for the best New Residential Project between $2 million and $3 million with the Master Builders Association of NSW.
